Find out moreCOPPER WIRE MESH
Copper wire mesh is pliable, malleable, and has high thermal and electrical conductivity. These characteristics make it popular to use in: RFI shielding, Faraday Cages, HVAC as well as numerous electrical based applications. Copper wire mesh is able to easily bend, but still maintain its strength.
Copper mesh is a yellowish red color when first woven and will gradually patina (discolor) to a greenish/bluish called verdigris. This patina effect may be accelerated by first removing surface oil from the mesh using “Shower Power” TM or a similar mild household cleaning product. After rinsing it well, the copper will shine, but will be unprotected.
In an outdoor environment, the discoloration will become pronounced in less than six months in climates such as the seashore, or it may remain untarnished for years in desert conditions. This discoloration may be stopped by lacquering, waxing, or periodically oiling the mesh to protect it from atmospheric conditions
Features & Uses
The unique green color of the patina that develops over time makes copper mesh a very popular option for designers, artists, architects, and homeowners. Homeowners and designers choose copper wire mesh for residential projects such as: gutter guards, insect screens, fireplace screens, or decorative wall panels. Artists, including: sculptors, wood workers, metal artisans, and architects prefer copper mesh due to its ability to form complex shapes.
Other uses for copper mesh include:
- Gutter and soffit screens
- Insect screens
- Root control
- Cabinet screens
- Sculpture
- Papermaking
Copper mesh can easily be cut with scissors, which makes it a go-to choice for home improvement and remodeling enthusiasts. However, copper mesh isn’t just for decorative or DIY projects. It is used in myriad applications for a wide variety of industries.
Choosing Your Copper Wire Mesh
There are many applications for copper wire mesh, therefore it is important to understand the function and pattern necessary for the job at hand. From laboratory uses on a micro scale level, to MRI rooms providing RFI shielding, copper mesh can provide a safe barrier to protect from electromagnetic radiation.
The versatility of copper wire mesh means there are many industries that rely on it. It is often at the center of technological advancements in a broad range of fields. Copper wire mesh is most heavily used in the fields of:
- Energy storage
- Electric heaters
- Pest control fumigation
- Tactical military shelters and modular containers
- Robotics and power automation
- Gamma irradiators
- Health, body and mind enrichment
- Space program initiatives
- Metal smithing and bookbinding
- Air and liquid filtration and separation

Crimped woven wire mesh is made of high quality is a manufacturing in Ferrous & Non Ferrous Metal. It has various weaving method, such as the double crimped, flat top crimped, intermediate crimped and lock crimped. The crimped woven wire mesh has square opening and rectangle opening, which has different wire diameters. The pre-crimped weaving method can assure the accurate open area and make the structure stability and smooth. The crimped woven wire mesh has various applications. The heavy duty crimped woven wire cloth can be used as vibrating screen in the mining, coal, stone crusher, heating treatment and other industries. The light crimped woven wire mesh with thinner wire diameter and small opening size can be used as Grilled Wiremesh, pig feeding, kitchen equipment, protective fences for the equipment and stairs.
Raw Material
• Stainless Steel – 304, 310, 316
• High Carbon Steel
• Copper
• Mild Steel
Lock crimped
Lock crimped is a refinement of the intermediate crimped. It can lock the wire at their position through pressed at each side of the raised wire. This structure can add the stability of the crimped woven wire mesh.
Double crimped
Double crimped is also called plain weave. Different from the intermediate crimped, both the warp wire and weft wire are woven directly by straight wire. We can get a rigid construction through evenly crimp in warp and weft wire. The wires are under crimped and sprung together thus giving a tight mesh. This is used mainly with lighter wires to ensure tension in a light screen.

Find out moreIndustrial Construction
Fossil fuel production and consumption began with coal – its first reported uses date as far back as 4000BC in China where carving took place out of black lignite (one of the several forms of coal).1. However, large-scale combustion of coal is typically correlated with the period around the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. The visualisation shows the global consumption of fossil fuels – coal, oil and gas – from 1800 onwards. Overall, we see that global consumption of fossil energy has increased more than 1300-fold. As shown, coal was the first and only fossil source until the 1860s when crude oil consumption began. Natural gas production began a couple of decades later, in the 1880-90s.
